System requirements for System Mechanic Ultimate Defense are:
- a PC with Microsoft® Windows® 11, 10, 8.1, 8, or 7
- at least 270 MB of available hard disk space
- minimum 512 MB RAM (optimal 2 GB)
- an Internet connection for license activation
- your web browsers must be up-to-date
- Windows Administrator user account
- latest Windows updates fully applied
- a USB drive is required to run the full hard drive data wipe feature of DriveScrubber
The same above requirements apply to System Mechanic Pro.
If you are looking into the System Mechanic software, the system requirements for this edition are:
- a PC running Windows® 11, 10, 8.1, 8, 7
- at least 512 MB RAM (optimal 2GB)
- approximately 70 MB free hard drive space
- internet connection (required for license activation)
- Windows Administrator user account
- latest Windows updates fully applied
