Yes. System Mechanic<\/strong><\/a> includes a maintenance feature called ActiveCare<\/strong><\/a> that can automatically run cleanup, repair, and optimization tasks on your PC.<\/p>\n

\u2705 What ActiveCare does<\/h2>\n
    \n
  • ActiveCare monitors your system\u2019s performance and resource usage while your PC is on but idle<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  • When ActiveCare detects issues or performance thresholds you configured \u2014 such as low memory, accumulated junk files, or fragmented drives \u2014 it triggers the appropriate maintenance tools automatically, without you having to run them manually.<\/li>\n
  • Examples: cleaning browser and system junk files, repairing registry issues, defragmenting hard drives, removing unnecessary startup programs, and more.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    \ud83d\udee0\ufe0f How to configure automatic tasks<\/h3>\n
      \n
    1. Open System Mechanic and go to Settings \u2192 Performance Settings<\/strong> (or the Performance\/ActiveCare tab). See the image below.<\/li>\n
    2. From there, you can choose which tasks you want ActiveCare to run automatically \u2014 e.g., registry fixes, junk file cleanup, drive defragmentation, internet cleanup, startup optimization, etc. Toggle each task on or off.<\/li>\n
    3. Under scheduling options (e.g., in Performance Settings or Frequency settings), you can specify how often System Mechanic should check and run maintenance \u2014 from every few hours to once a month (or disable automatic scheduling).<\/li>\n
    4. Optional: You can enable email reports in ActiveCare\u2019s settings so System Mechanic will send you periodic summaries of what was fixed or optimized. See the second image below.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      \u26a0\ufe0f Important notes<\/h3>\n
        \n
      • ActiveCare does not<\/strong> schedule individual tools for fixed times (like \u201crun defragmenter every Sunday at 3 am\u201d). Instead, it runs tools based on performance triggers and when the PC is idle.<\/li>\n
      • If you disable automatic scheduling (e.g., set frequency to \u201cNever\u201d), then tools will only run when you manually initiate them.<\/li>\n
      • Automatic maintenance aims to be non-intrusive: all background tasks only run when the PC is idle, so they should not interfere with your work.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
